Dolores Boettcher
Bachelor of Fine Arts from the State University of New York at Buffalo, N.Y. and convalidated in Spain from the Universidad Politecnica de Valéncia.
Postgraduate studies of Art Education at the University of New York, N.Y. Studied etching tecniques at the Conservatorio de las Artes del Libro in Barcelona.
  
 

Around 1970 she established permanent residence in Menorca where teaching and artistic activity are combined.
Dolores has exhibited in collectives and individually en Menorca, Mallorca, Barcelona, New York and Florida. In 1969 and 1988 she was awarded 1st prize in The Ateneo in Mahon, Menorca as well as the Medalla de Plata de la Mostra Internacional de Grabado del Circulo Artistico de Barcelona, 1969. Between 1989 and 1994 she has been awarded prizes in various exhibitions at Art Centers of Sarasota, Venice and Longboat Key in Florida. Presently Dolores is exhibiting at the Artara Gallery of Mahon, Menorca and L' Estudi of Barcelona.
Together with the Galería GAUDÍ of Madrid, a collection of oils and watercolours participated in the International Art Fairs in Stockholm, Canterbury, Nimes and The Hague (2004-2006).
